Gus Trevena started his auto body career in 1995 as an estimator for Dave’s Autobody in Petaluma, CA and then moved to Dion’s Downtown Autobody in 1998 as an estimator and manager. In August of 2004 Gus and his wife Laurie purchased Downtown Autobody in Cotati, CA and moved the shop in the following year to Rohnert Park, CA. In 2011 they added a second location specifically for RV auto body repair and currently employ 13 people between the two locations.
In 2006, Gus started Downtown Auto Rentals as a means to provide free loaner cars for Downtown Autobody customers and have since branched out to retail rentals to the public.
Downtown Autobody is a business that prides itself on being very active in the community. Over the years we have donated to many charities including, but not limited to, the following:
For every SSU student that brings their vehicle to Downtown Autobody for a repair, we will donate 10% of the labor cost back to the school.
